I stupidly applied for a loan was refused now despite stating did not want my number shared I have a crazy number of texts/calls all promising a loan in secs! All nonsense usually a "broker" wanting to charge an upfront fee of undisclosed amount to a debit card upfront for putting you in touch with loan companies with no gaurantee of an actual loan being arranged. Name of company was something or other polls. Caller had a heavy Asian accent and I think he has called many times before for different companies. Said he wanted to ask me only four questions about my use of brands but his first question was to confirm my address, at which point I hung up.

Received text from this number claiming to be NHS Test & Trace. But followed link which asked for payment of £1.50 and credit card details. So looks like the text was a scam, or the link had been hijacked by a scammer.
