SCAM most likely - claiming to be from the Lloyds fraud prevention team due to a credit card being used (I don’t bank with Lloyds) and saying it’s for a Mr. Dario something-or-other, whom I am not.

SCAM They called claiming to be from o2 and could reduce my bill, i got sent 2 text messages one with a code which they asked for .I hung up and they called back, i told them i was google searching the number and they hung up. O2 says it was not them

Cold-calling to do with promoting books on Amazon.com for self-published authors. I am not the person they’re trying to contact, although they have the same name. Poor research on their part. They also have my email address. It looks like a London number, but I’m not 100% convinced that it’s UK based. They referred to Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk. Caller had an American accent. Judging by other reviews, they’re looking scam money from you. This is a new direction. SCAM

The text message received from 01628 200907 Is a SCAM. It reads “You have unpaid congestion charges. Please pay promptly to avoid fines. Click. (On the provided link). “ NO NO NO Click nothing. It is a scam. Think. Nobody from an unknown source would send a text to an unnamed person. You would receive an official letter, addressed to the registered keeper of the vehicle. Fraud I was given this number to contact the Insolvency Service. When I got through I was convinced I was speaking to the same people who had given me the number, a cloned firm of Stoneford Holdings

Fraud Asking me what items I have to cover for insurance. Wanted details of parent nae/personal details and white goods. Wanted to get financial info to increase insurance cover.

I am pretty sure this number is a scam number trying to make contact over an apparent bank transaction. It is bogus. I would block this number.
