Called on Sat.19/9. Said it would take 2 mins. to do a survey. I agreed, but after c.6 mins. I told the Far Eastern-sounding man that his time was up and put the phone down. This was the number that came up when being called by an Uber driver at Heathrow. Strange because it is a Sheffield landline number. He turned up in 12 mins & took me home OK. Just don't understand!
This was actually just an automated BT text-to-landline service telling me the time slot for my Costco parcel delivery that I was expecting, so this was completely legit for me. It will try ringing you several times until you listen to the text message so just listen and it will stop. However, as it's a generic BT service it is open to abuse but I would advise against blocking it because the message delivery service itself is not a scam, just be aware though that the message you receive could be bogus.
