Caller said he was from Openreach and my router had reported problems regarding internet speed. I pointed out that Openreach only supply and maintain local connection to the exchange not any service’s. Call was then cleared

Stated my Amazon had expired, so £79.99 had been debited from my account.

Caller from this number stated that hmrc were giving back tax paid on ppi claims. I was due over £6000! Proceeded to ask me help to fill R40 form, my date of birth and then my national insurance number. At that point I asked her to send me the form as I didn't want to give my details. I think this could be a scam.

Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer. They called asking for someone of a different name. I said it's a wrong number and they hung up. However it sounded very much like a scam call centre. After doing 1471 3 called them back and was hearing a recorded message about them being telly tube or telly shute. Never heard of them.

SCAM This number looks as if it was local to me, but it was not. Strongly accented lady said she was from Virgin Media about the "poor performance of the internet connection". I told her I knew it was a hoax call and hung up.

Call female voice reporting that my internet connection was in danger of being disconnected. Suggested I connect to someone who could help me. I hung up.

This number called today and said that two transactions had been made on my bank account, one from amazon for £300 and one for a transfer of £1000, be aware this is a scam and they should look to getting a proper job.
