A voice said he was James from Relief Energy who said; "I've been trying to call you for a few days now, actually." Well, nobody has been trying to call me when I was at home, and as I check my phone whenever I've been out, then I know for sure that it's nonsense so I just hung up. Such lazy scammers - they use the same numbers each time. Basically if you receive a call from a Bolton code eg 01204 and you don;t live in Bolton or know someone who lives in Bolton, just ignore and block. It will just be these lazy evil scammers. Sometimes they claim to be TalkTalk, another time they claim to be 'National Debt Resolution'. They are totally useless - they are even rude the moment you answer, and can't even manage to sound even briefly plausible or professional. Evil fools - the worst.

Calls, yelling at you, and throwing legislation around, don't let you speak. scaremongerer. HANG UP ON THIS MAN. claims he's a duty officer, and claims he will slam an injunction on you.

SCAM, it sounds like a rerouted Indian call centre, using a UK number, claiming to be a generic "internet security".

SCAM claimed to be insurance on domestic appliances up for renewal - quoted my name, address and phone number (all as per phone directory) at me,then asked for my date of birth for verification - I asked him to tell me my date of birth so that I could verify it and (surprise, surprise) the line went dead.

The person said they where from 118 live directory, he asked for the business owner which I am not so I said no I’m afraid he won’t be in untill friday at that point he hung up. I did 14713 and called back to get an automated American voice saying it was utility direct. Scam.

This number was the one that appeared on my phone as having called me, after receiving an automated call supposedly from Visa, informing me of suspicious transactions on my account and to press 1 to accept or 2 if I did not. Later I phoned this number, using 141 beforehand so they would not know who called, and a man answered...just an "ordinary sounding guy", no mention of an office/bank/or fraud squad. I asked to speak to a random person and apologised for dailling a "wrong number"..

Probable scam. Asked me for "Final Payment" on a "contract" (non-existent) for maintaining domestic appliances, saying it was due today, and that a paper receipt would be sent to my hone address, which the caller asked me to verify. When I said the address was correct, I also said he should have sent an invoice earlier, but he then immediately hung up.

FAKE Text Message from bank States that money has been charged in credit card from Amazon of £300 and another one as well. Hung up straight away, scam!!!
