Automated call stating that an official letter from HMRC tax is on route to me and legal action is being taken. Asks you to press 1 to speak to an official representative. Got to be a scam, I'm employed by the NHS and all my tax & National insurance is sorted by them. Blocked the number, I'll worry when the "official letter" turns up!
The representative of a bank, but not my bank wanted to advise me. He also went simply from the fact that I am with the said bank. I will not mention the name because I think that the man does not really work for the bank. It all sounded very much like sales pitch.

Do Not give any details to people like this and please dont say yes in any way shape or form as alot of these scammers record your conversation and can use your voice to signup for stuff without you knowing about it untill a bailiff comes a knocking

This was a text message saying "PayPal: We have limited your account due to safety concerns. Please visit https://paypal-limitations43.com before we are forced to close your account" Within 5 min I had 2 more exactly the same from +447904580519 and +447946748210, suspect its a scam as there are no messages when I login to my account via a normal login process.

Reschedule the delivery via: https://my-fedex-parcel-gb.com" - I have not ordered anything and the text was sent at 11pm and while I was home. I suspected a scam right away. I will NOT be clicking on that link in the text message.

Called at 20.15PM on June 6th 2017. Knew name and address. They said they left an energy tester! Also they would be calling for it tommorrow. We said no not interested. They then nastily said we will be there at 2pm anyway! I phoned local police. They said harassment caller also the number was a leeds number but the 4 after 0113 is not a leeds number. Automated call Ostensibly from BT, saying suspicious (or similar!) activity on my phone and internet, so will be closing them down. Press 1 ........ etc ! When you answer your phone and if it s a number you don t recognise, DON T SPEAK JUST LISTEN! Wait for the caller to speak first and then decide whether to simply put the phone down. SCAM - Received a scam call from this number, the automated message about serious financial misconduct is designed to scare you into pressing 1 to speak to an operator who then asks lots of personal questions to try to get personal details or payment info. HANG UP and don't engage.
Robotic voice claiming to be police with a warrant for my arrest as someone had performed criminal activity using my name, obviously they wanted my details, my phone provider must have sold my number
A man kept asking the same question again and again. I thought perhaps he was drunk or on drugs. I asked him to remove my number from the database. He hung up. An hour and a half later, another man rang from the same number, after I told him what had happened and what I thought of his colleague, he asked if he could just try to find me a cheaper quote for my utilities. I asked if all their staff are incapable of understanding the English language. At which point he told me he would remove my number.
Repeated dropped calls, pick up then hangs up immediately. 17 calls in 5 minutes. Blocked caller.
