SCAM 01209707750 Redruth, Cornwall. A posh sounding young man phoned, from telpro marketing medical services. My partner was actually waiting for somebody to get back about a prescription ordered, so nearly got caught out. I really worry about the elderly and vulnerable.

Was difficult to understand, he asked if we had any repairs done, I made out I have been waiting a year, he then asked if I was a council tenant, I asked him what day is he coming to fix my indoor swimming pool, he put the phone down, I tried ringing back, but just a recorded message ????????

SCAM called from 02035247544 first trying to get us to press the windows key on the computer and run a diagnostic, strung him along for a bit and then hung up. He called back on this number asking why we hung up on him, he sounded indian and the line was very bad. Told him I was with the TPS and we knew it was dodgy and hung up and blocked the number

Well spoken female called back after getting cut off. Said they checked my fuse box ten years ago and wanted to do another free check. Asked me to go to the fuse box. I said it was difficult to reach and it was a consumer unit with circuit breakers. She said in that case no need for a check. Obviously if they'd checked ten years ago they would know what equipment I had. Why I continued to engage with her was we had circuit breakers changed by the makers of the consumer unit as they had found quality issues.
This number as others lately are trying to obtain financial information from you bit by bit, I've blocked them all, thou these still seem to be coming through

Insurance, claiming to be calling about your life insurance saying they may be able to find you a better deal for your life insurance, asks the basic questions, but wants your account number and sort code to setup a direct debit by the end. Unsure if they are a legit company or not as obviously ended the call before giving details.

As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.
This phone number, alond with several mobile numbers, keeps ring me saying they are from HMRC stating that legal action is bout to be instgated aginst me. Total fraud and a scam. They are all CROOKS. Insurance Called from Direct Insurance about my kitchen appliances claiming that as I hadn't made a claim in over a year they could offer me a substantial discount on my renewal fee. The thing is, although I haven't claimed I am NOT insured with this company. I've now had three or four calls and each time I've asked them politely to remove my details from their database but they still keep calling! I told them today I would report them to you.
