I am moving from BT because of horrific service. I received a short automated message from BT - stating that they were taking over my line. I called to query this. The guy who answered verified my number, but it was not my number. I told him it was not mine and he abruptly hung up. I called back - the second call handler couldn’t understand the situation and became annoyed and hung up. I received calls from people saying your number is showing up on their caller ID, it's likely that that my number has been spoofed by scammers. I don't have a business or anything like that. Drop calling my number without speaking
Someone with a very heavy Indian accent called my mobile today offering me a free phone if I would give him my post code and details, he would then bring it round to me, he also said he was calling me because his system said I was poor and earned less than £3000 a month, I told him his information was wrong and that he was a scammer and should do better with his life, even after all that he still kept asking me for my details, I kept him on the phone for over 10 minutes.
SCAM - 2 calls within a couple of minutes ro my fixed line - which should be TPS protected - have had to block! Sick of all these rotten scammers!
