This was a recorded message claiming to be from HMRC. This is clearly a scam as its a mobile number and HMRC would not contact people in this way.

These people ring and when you answer there is no one there when you ring you get an american womens voice saying this number is not in service these people should be phoned in their homes in the middle of the night to annoy them as much as they annoy everyone else.

I bought a washing machine and the service and delivery were great. But within a couple of hours the phone calls started. I just ignore them. It s sad that a company that gives such good service should use these tactics and blemish it s reputation.

Rang me eight times yesterday when I was out and again tonight at 8pm just as I finally got my sick toddler to sleep. Oxfam wanting money.

07-397-694-853 17/06/21 I have just received a phone call from this mobile no. & I did not answer the call. They did not leave a voicemail, nor have they sent a text msg. I tried calling the no. adding 141 as a prefix, but the phone msg said they were unavailable. I have no clue who this is!

i ve received a number of missed calls from this number. If I don t know the number, I don t answer it, on the basis if it s urgent/an actual call, they will leave a message. No message ever left.

I receive a text to say I ve missed their call, (i.e. every time they call!). Thing is, there was no call only the text message. I can confidently say that because my mobile had been in my pocket for 2hrs they hadn t called. Neither had they called on my landline, I ve been in all day.

I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!
