SCAM Received call about the 'free' medical alert system 'worth £200' with reply freephone given as 08000487800. The 01202159xxx number is probably 'spoofed' as it is in line with a string of calls received recently in the same number group, but the last 3 digits keep changing to avoid call blockers. This is the first time that a message has been left.

SCAM. Male asking to "talk to the boss" about a "fixed renewal tracker" and the "electricity meter". Didn't sound very bright! Googled the number and found it is legitimate for a female property dealer with a female team, so either their phone has been stolen or the scammer is spoofing their number.

I've had 2 unknown numbers from Liverpool. One 'following an accident I've had' ... and the other call the line went dead. Have blocked both now.

Someone phoned my mobile and said there was a serious issue with my National Insurance Number and it would be invalid, blar, blar, blar.... and I must take action. Press 1 to speak to an officer! Of course I didn't, and most likely I would have been then connected to a premium rate number. The voice had an English accent. Clearly this was a SCAM! Note: All government agencies write to people with their inquiries and do not phone or text.
