Scam; claimed to be a technician with BT Openworld. Said our internet connection was slow and vulnerable... I called him out and suggested that his next line would be something along the lines of 'for a nominal fee we can fix this' and he said yes we can so I informed him that he was not from BT and that this was scam and he was talking bullshit. He hung up.
I didn't answer as I didn't recognise the number from the display
