Silent call

This number is British Gas - probably payment collections department. When you call it back, it goes to a main menu with a series of options to hear balance / pay bill.

An indian woman called me from this number saying she was a BT employee and could see from my account that I have issues with slow internet which I do. She said she needed me to run some diagnostics from my computer to check the issue my end. At this stage I felt it might be a scam so asked if I could have a number to contact her to validate that she was a BT employee. At that point she put the phone now on me.

A new number for me and also, of course, unrecognised. Thus Call Blocker again came to the fore and is now going to be permanently blocked.

Automated call about mis-sold packaged bank accounts . Option at the end of the call to press 9 to have your number removed; however, I did that last week and have received the same call twice since then. TPS don t deal with automated calls; to report this number, go to the ICO website: https://ico.org.uk/concerns/marketing/report-automated-calls/ Falcon & Pointer claim to be registered with the ICO and with the Government s Claims Management Regulator.

I paid to advertise with this company they never printed my advertisement and kept my money I spoke to the telesales agent Calum Mackintosh who cold called me and he assured me I would get a refund from the MD Mathew Walker if I called back later. I rang and spoke to Mathew Walker who sounds like an illiterate he refused my refund made up a tissue of lies and excuses and said he actually cant issue refunds and the BOSS will call me.......still waiting!! You will only be called by this number if you have a Captial One credit card. It is there collections department. People rating this 9 are bad debtors and leaving poisoned reviews. I m rating 3 as even though they are a legitimilate caller, the volume of their calls can be tedious. To stop calls from this number, pay your bill on time.

Has called me twice in one day. First was a male caller, second was a female. I just kept quiet/mute my end and listen to them repeatedly say "Hello, hello?"

Did not answer call as number not in my contacts list. No message left on voicemail which is a bad sign. Tip if someone wants to get hold of you, they will leave a message, if no message, then either telemarketing or spam or scam callers

I received a series of five unsolicited calls over a two month period. No conversation, just the sound of people talking (in English)in the background, then hung-up.
