Company doing insurance review. Cold caller, not requested.
Another missed, short call, no message left. Similar number to several other untrustworthy numbers. I called this number back and the phone was named as "the phone is switched off, please try again later". I have now blocked this as a nuisance caller..
Called my elderly mother 11 times yesterday. Her blocking phone need not allow the calls through, but it still worried her. Glad to see I am right to have such a phone for her. ...

The call was not from TalkTalk. The scammer spoof the number.

Someone tried to call me on my mobile a little while ago from 0161 8282141. It turns out to be a Manchester number. I don't know anyone there. I often get scam calls around this time, and I am sure this is another one. When I dialled the number it rang for a few seconds and then cut out.
Banking Automated call 'This is bank security ' alleging two card transactions on account. As there is less than £100 in the account, this seems highly unlikely. Simply hung up at this point, but such calls are annoying and potentially dangerous. Have cheçked with my bank in the past, who assure me they would never make such a call
