SCAM regarding loss of internet provider SCAM

Fraud - Claimed to be Virgin Media and wanted access to a laptop or computer to fix my internet of show me suspect activity. Had several call from other numbers claiming the same.
I believe this is someone I've been looking for.
This number called, when I answered it sounded like a call centre but was disconnected immediately. When I called back it answered and then quickly disconnected.
They wanted me to confirm my surname twice and hung up!
