Fraud SPAM SCAM Told that I am being called from Visa Security Department saying that there has been a fraudulent purchase made for around £900 from my amazon or ebay account and whether I want to stop this fraudulent payment when no such purchase has been made or is even pending from my bank account. This number calls daily, when I block it the final digit changes,descending order. Also leaves an automated voice message which is impossible to understand apart from the words “nothing to worry about, we will call you again”
Phone call received with a terrible line connection. Could not make out the company name. The callers reponse was very delayed as if it was a cold call machine. It asked me if i had been in a car accident so i replied no and hung up.
