Again I'm also receiving calls from this number normally in the morning around 11.46 and then in the afternoon 16.20. it also just rings about a couple of times then rings ...
Not 638, but had various calls off this number, all ending in the 600's. Apparently BT, my Internet blah blah, they can help change settings etc. That's when I put the phone down. 65 yo woman, live on my own, but not stupid ????
one-ring calls: must be a cost trap. thisll ring u til u get curious and call them, not knowing that it can charge u like 20 dollars

Unsure if this is a genuine call or not. Claimed to be calling about the recent bank scandal. I just told them I wasn't interested and hung up.

Got a call; answered and automated message asked for my mailbox number. Checked on here and of course it s a scam. I have had a few over the years like this claiming my contract s coming to an end.
SCAM robo voice saying “there has been a fraudulent transaction on your credit card...” I hung up the phone.
SCAM - Text received to mobile phone from the Post Office (allegedly) stating - Your package has been redirected to your local Post Office branch due to an unpaid shipping fee. To schedule delivery visit: the link included in the text. I have no package due from anyone. Beware!!!
