didn t answer and my phone went completely dead afterward - bit odd.
Far East accent asked to speak to the person who had had an accident in the last two years. This information can only have come from my insurance company (Liverpool Victoria) or a garage they have instructed to make a minor repair to my car. Neither has permission to pass on any information to any third party. When I said no one had had an accident the caller put the phone down immediately

SCAM - recorded message claims your National Insurance number has been involved in fraud/illegal activity and says you must press 1 immediately to speak to an advisor. A quick Google search found lots of examples of this as a phishing message.
