Scam. When I called him out that his scam is well known he got very abusive. I let him rant on until he eventually hung up. Call originated from an Indian call centre.

This is Direct marketing they called after making an order from one of their catalogs to say thank you and tell me about other offers ... so it’s spam !!!
My name is Michael. He got no further as I hung up. Again as previously stated, I thought this scam ended months ago.

Received same text as everybody else from +44 1252 560473. PayPal scam. Got my number from Gumtree advert. Just delete. As if you d get security messages by text & from PayPal.net.
Silent call
Recorded message saying it was from my bank but didn't name the bank. Said they were ringing about 2 suspicious transactions on my account and then gave the details of the transactions. Then said press 1 to accept the transactions or 2 to speak to an operator.....SCAM
