Got a call from a man with strong northern accent he asked for me by name. He said that they believe that I had worked in a noisy environment. When I told him I hadn t he asked what jobs I had done since leaving school. He than asked if I had ever worked in a noisy job, I told him no, he then just cut me off. I cannot stand ignorance and bad manners he shouldn t be ringing anyone with the attitude he has, prat!

Apparently from the Industrial Hearing Centre, which is weird, because I've never worked in an industrial job in my life!
I spent some time trying to get to the root of their persistent calls. They were owned by RBS but were sold to private equity = no morals and must now be using cheap call lists. These muppets are regulated by the FCA (see their website) and complaints may be made to them as well as the ICO / TPS etc. as they take misbehaviour by financial sector businesses very seriously nowadays.
