SCAM: Phone number is for Ocean Mini (a car services firm) at 182 Billacombe Road, Oreston, PL9 7HE. The call was from an Indian sounding man called Steve, at 09:07 this morning, allegedly from BT Openreach calling about the sometimes slow internet speed they had noticed we were experiencing. He said it was a free call & asked me to be at the computer (PC or Laptop) and to click on the internet browser - Google Chrome or whatever I use. My PC was slow warming up. Rang my mother pitching doing market research to try a knee pad and give opinion but actually selling. Claimed got my mother?s details from a questionnaire she filled in. She didn?t. He said they would send a caller to the house. Now how have they got her address with neither of us giving the details. Will send them packing if they turn up
