Have been called numerous times on various dates by this company, but 3 times yesterday was the final straw. Said they were a Debt Advice Agency and when asked, they indicated that they got my number because I had entered a recent competition online and included the detail - why would me entering a competition be any indication that I need debt advice?! AMAZON - not sure of identity of caller about a gift card from Amazon. American voice too makes me suspicious.
Caller identified himself as Reid from Reactive Media. Said he was calling about an overpayment on a (non-existent) loan between two arbitrary dates. When asked for details he couldn t give any and when pushed further he hung up.
