Called say the warranty on our washing machine had expired. There is no warranty the machine is 15 years old! I was told he could set one up for 3 years right now for £86 but when I asked him to sent the terms and conditions in an email he hung up. Beware of this number I had them call last week saying the TV warranty had expired.

This number called me but did not get a reply. If I had replied the caller would have got an earful, as it would have been another of the criminals pretending to be Talk Talk (or more recently Openreach, another variation), having obtained my information through that company s well-known insecurity. On a bad line and with foreign accent, I would have been told there was a dangerous fault on my computer and it had to be checked.
