An indian woman called me from this number saying she was a BT employee and could see from my account that I have issues with slow internet which I do. She said she needed me to run some diagnostics from my computer to check the issue my end. At this stage I felt it might be a scam so asked if I could have a number to contact her to validate that she was a BT employee. At that point she put the phone now on me.

Was called three time in 20 minutes. Silence. On third call I told them to stop calling and was told to " disconnect the line, you c..t" This is at 8 in the morning. How do these scammers get away with it?

Automated call Recieved a call from this number threatening it was a Fraud investigation giving me a reference number then directing me to press one to get through to an agent. If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. I ended call without proceeding but want others to watch out for such calls as the ber search brought up nothing in terms of an organisation

This was the TV licencing debt collecting agency, Akinika. Agressive calling. My mobile rang straight after the land line call which I didn t answer. I blocked them on my mobile, but I don t have that facility on my DECT phone. I didn t answer. I m skint over Christmas lol, and intend to pay up on the 8th Jan when I get paid. I owe them ?29.10. Surprised they sent it to a debit collection agency. I had got a letter on xmas eve from the company. Thanks for that, ;-)

I received a call from Motorpal today Telephone number 029 2036 4211 , they wanted me to pay £1 for vouchers to be sent then alarm bells rang so I did some checking and found this site. I have asked them to call back tomorrow as I said I did not have my card to hand lol. I will be giving the details of the caller to the fraud squad tomorrow and contacting my local MP after the general election . I received an automated call about some money taken from my card. If I wanted to learn more press 1 they requested. The call was from Nakhichevan Russian Federation - I never had any connection with this part of world. Must be a fraud?!
