Fraud SPAM SCAM Told that I am being called from Visa Security Department saying that there has been a fraudulent purchase made for around £900 from my amazon or ebay account and whether I want to stop this fraudulent payment when no such purchase has been made or is even pending from my bank account. They hang up after almost 4min of asking why would you be calling me and not my bank. Very high chance that its fraud/scam

It s valid for London but whether it s genuine is impossible to tell. The incoming number displayed on a phone screen can be spoofed from anywhere.

It called me at 01:10am, which I don't think this number is located in London, it's a redirect because who in the hell would call at 01:10am? Obviously, they're in another time zone.
SCAM Automated message claiming to be from the Serious Crime Agency, saying that my National Insurance number was about to be suspended as it had been linked to a number of major crimes. Fairly sure that, even if that was even possible, the first I'd know about it would be a dawn raid rather than a robot giving me a friendly heads-up.
My friend received a message from this number claiming to be DPD, it requested personal info to arrange a re delivery, full name, DOB and mothers maiden name, NEVER DISCLOSE THIS INFORMATION TO ANYONE NO LEGITIMATE COMPANY WILL EVER ASK YOU FOR THIS INFORMATION IT IS PERSONAL TO YOU AND ONLY YOU! They now have a new number - 0800 4 11 88 99. Like many others I took out 3 years cover on a machine I no longer have. Tried cancelling over the phone but was informed I had to write in to obtain a refund. Did that a week ago but no confirmation of received so I tried phoning several times this morning but after seven minutes a voice says "Goodbye" and the call terminates. Judging from the ringing it is on a hunt group but nobody picks up. Looks like CAB is the next stop.
Had this number call but when I said Hello, there was no answer, i repeated Hello 3 times, then they hung up I am so sick of these calls that all i do is say a quiet hello if i do not recognise the number, but I am also being plagued by home sure ref my deceased mums house - she never even had home sure!
