Debt consolidation, they called me to inform me of a debt consolidation government scheme, and asked me if I have debts, I said I didnt, they hung up, however they called me after a few days again. Indian accents on the phone ring alarm bells for me, as most of the scammers are indian, not that all indians are scammers, but call centre calls make me refuse any communication..

This is quite unlike the usual scam callers. "Hi this is Tom. You recently had us do your loft insulation. I don't know whether you knew about the condensation problem but please don't worry, our team....." sort of thing! As soon as you try to reply he puts the phone down - even when you pretend to know what hes on about and are actually interested. Uses local number to local people so be careful. Would love to know what the scam is but can't draw him!

Have called me 5 times in the past month. Hang up every time I answer. Calling them back gets through to a digital voice system.
