All they are doing is claiming back ppi and other loan addons prior to 2011. After 2011 I think the law changed concerning ppi. It doesnt have to be a loan but a credit card with ppi charges ect that have mounted up. They get a cut if you win so its in their interest to try and get you money back. Trustwise I would say ok as they are UK based and also will have to deal with banks and other credit companies so would get slaughtered if they were lying id assume.
Answered it. No one spoke. Then an automated voice said "Goodbye" and the call ended. Apparently it s a scammer trying to sell a fake TPS service

Some form of prank call ringing up ranting about dead sheep. It was hilarious. They threatened to to call the local constabulary about it, when I informed them that was exactly who they had phoned they hung up so there must have been someone listening!!

Automated message supposedly from HMRC threatening arrest for fraud if I didn't press 1. I figure if there is a real warrant they'd send a formal postal declaration notba cold call.
Scam tax evasion automated caller
Anonymous, this suggests that the call is made from a VGPN as many of these have no facility to accept incoming calls. Another tell tale sign of the call being made from a VGPN ...
Called unsolicited, someone has earned something by selling my number to a company - that is really irritating. Why should they earn anything by selling information which they don t technically or actually own?
