Second call within hour, can hear call centre in background again, this time a woman, says something, sounded foreign, I said "hello" again and she hung up, 100% scam.
Scam
Fraud. Say they are Lloyds and ask you to access links. DON'T.
I was just called by somebody saying they were from UK Financial. The said they had a cheque for me for money i was owed from bank charges. They knew my address then asked me to confirm my date of birth. I told them i was not giving it to them as i had never heard of them. When i said this they hung up!
SCAM / SPAM ?
SCAM I got a missed call from this number and a voicemail. It was an automated voice that just said 'take legal action' as though it started with the recording as soon as the call connected.
I ve been called a number of times by 123 Legal calling on 0151 3758903 always Liverpool accent callers. Asking to speak to a my partner following up a claim - he has no claim with this company. I know he hasn t given them my phone number. They are rude and unpleasant and although always tell me they have removed my number from their records continue to call. I have no idea how they have got my number.
