Call then hang up
Spam sales callers, asking about website ranking and SEO despite our number being on Business TPS and specifically telling the guy we did not welcome the call. He insisted it wasn t a sales call...and went on to try to ask questions about how many enquiries we received via the web, etc, saying they were trying to help companies find local search results - SALES CALL. Utter nonsense and reported to Information Commissioner.

Possibly a faked number, recorded message claiming to be Amazon Prime.
Automated "suspicious activity" message, mentioned £1000 foreign transfer. I let them talk to my answering machine and ignored. Interestingly, had another call 10 mins later, this time from 01732 896820 - they hung up immediately my machine kicked in. Probably the same scammer using different numbers??

SCAM Indian caller claiming to be BT engineer saying he had 2 email addresses for me and had sent me a verification code. I said i had no code and he said he would send me one. He asked to check my email. I didn't give it him but so he said he would send one anyway and to check my inbox. I told him nothing had arrived but worryingly it had. I deleted the email without opening. Told him i hadn't had a code and he asked about my other email. I told him to tell me what this was all about and he got aggressive.
This a ppi claims number. Very polite and stated he got my number from a national database.
