They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable. Had a Spam Call with 01223936981 displayed (Cambridge). Recorded message played to me with usual '£700' suspicious charge from Amazon and '£2000' International Charge made on my Account etc. Ignored the request to respond. Telephoned the displayed number 15 minutes later, got 'unobtainable signal'. Note : an hour earlier had the same call but with a local Northampton number displayed. I called this number and the residents did not know anything about the Call. They reported it to BT for investigation.

If you get a text message from this number, you will get a call from 07885215566 the next day so block both numbers.
We are ex-directory and registered with TPS. This number called us at 7.15 a.m today, 7.45a.m and then continually throughout the day.mwe have had to disconnect our land line because of them . They should be sued. We are disgusted by this harassment.

This number is a major scam to get you to pay tax and these are scam calls that will want all your money.
Claimed to be from RBS credit card fraud in relation to an SMS NHS Covid phishing attempt on my phone. Appeared plausible and had some detailed info on my account transactions, however, when calling the number on back of my card, they said they had no record of a call from RBS. Suspect they were trying to obtain additional information to also obtain on line banking log in.
My sister who is 81 years of age had a letter recently from MMF Debt purchase & Recovery Phone 0113 887 6867. She has never heard of this group or firm.

Normally don t pick up unknown calls but the number was similar to one I was expecting so mistakenly answered. Think this was an Indian call centre and the guy rambled something about pensions. I said I wasn t interested. He tried to stop me from hanging up by saying it wasn t a sales call (?)... Something along the lines if pension release.
