I cancelled the call when they rang but they left an answerphone message asking about a car crash and then realised they were talking to an answerphone, swore and hung up. I ll add the number to the ambulance chaser list and will keep them on the phone for as long as possible!

Dee, it's just a Glasgow number - 0141 280 0071 - or at least, made to look like a Glasgow number.

The company called on this number on behalf of Smart meter installers. I asked where they had got my number from and was informed they buy the details including name and contact phone number from a company called Lead365. Real issues is how and why lead365 believe they have the freedom to market my name and phone number for cash!!
