Caller addressed me by a false name which I had given to a previous cold caller. He said he was calling about a government scheme to reduce debt. He said it was an IVA and wouldn t affect my credit rating. I asked who he worked for and he said Money Direct in Manchester. He said they were registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). He said he was calling from SE Asia, He asked me about my debts. I invented a few "outstanding" credit card debts and told him I was struggling to pay off the cards.

Repeated attempts to contact me from unrecognised number yet they leave no messages so clearly scammers hoping for a vulnerable victim to fleece!
Apparently a call to say my internet is going to be cut off in 24 hours! Yeah yeah.
