Gentleman with a northern accent claiming to be our towns child safety officer Telling us how we'd signed up to a child safety booklet to go to our local schools. As he couldn't pronounce the names of the schools correctly that didn't really help his cause Told him we'd never spoken before to which he quickly replied "ah right ok leave it with me" and then promptly hung up

TAXES / HMRC - claim that you are a tax evader and that there is a warrant out for your arrest.
Someone called claiming to be from Aviva regarding my life insurance and being entitled to a drop in premium price due to COVID-19 pandemic and new regulations. Didn't believe it was real as they gave an old address so hung up.
DPD (using a consumer phone number) texted saying "you wasn't in". If you're going to scam, at least use proper spelling and grammar.
