Cold call received 2.4.13 at 2.50pm. Caller claimed - untruthfully I have no doubt - that they worked "in conjunction with the office of fair trading" - to secure the best deal for me in paying off my debts. When I described the call as a "gross impertinence" and that I had no debt to pay off, the caller rudely rang off immediately.

Cold call regarding "accident that wasn t your fault" usual rubbish. Was a witheld number this time but did volunteer the company name at the start. Seemed already aware that TPS registration of my phone meant their actions were illegal.
The comment from Ian was interesting. I have made purchases in the past from IJT but don t do so now as I had problems with their printer cartridges not being compatible with my printer. Whilst the caller was pleasant what annoys me is when I ask them to remove my number from their data base they just clear down and don t respond to my request. I thought if you asked them to do this they were duty bound to do so,

this number called to inform me by recorded message that my internet was about to be disconnected and was asked to press one of 2 digits on my phone keypad where I would be directed to discuss my options. I consider this is a scam which would then connect me to a premium phoneline. it is now blocked by my call protect and I advise anyone receiving a call from this or similar numbers with the same dialling code not to press any digit on their phone but hang up and block the number
