SCAM Claims to be from HMRC
Irish man asking about scrap cars for sale, north wales
Not sure if this is associated with Microsoft, though seems like it as I received a call from this number just before having a teams call on my mobile.
7am and phone went dead beware
4 rings then hung up just as I answered.
SCAM
18 April 2023. 1140 hrs. Missed call to mobile in uk. No voice Mail left.
Number may be a scam. Reporting that money was used on a visa card and to verify if correct press 1
Private number
Someone with a thick non-UK accent claiming to be O2 and offering to reduce my monthly bills by 20%. They had no idea how much I am paying monthly. It’s an obvious scam call.
Hung up when questioned where he was calling from
Missed call
Spam caller. Phone rings and when you answer it sends a SMS saying you missed a call and asking you to call them on 901 (has a link in it to dial direct - which I didn't).
Also in nz didn't answer as suspected a scam as unknown overseas numbers always are
SPAM
Scam make money from people book holiday people pay 10000 no answer
Text Message SCAM received a message from another number (07729360961) saying “heya mum this is a message from my iPad so you probably don’t have me saved but I recently switched providers to O2 so I have a new n.o okay. Message me on 07858925155 so I can save your contact”
Fraud The claimed to be from my home appliance cover. They tried to get my bank details (even though we are on direct debit so the real provider would already have it). When challenged they called back several times getting more condescending each time. We then phoned our actual cover provider and they confirmed it was a scam call. DANGEROUS.
SCAM This number called pretending to be a bank
SCAM - Not sure who or whom organised this - but pretended they were Sky Broadband and then disconnected with a weird noise as soon as I asked any remotely difficult questions of them
