Reported call to ICO. Automated sales call about writing off 70% of your debt . I get these several times per week and there s no way of stopping the damn things without spending money on blocking the number from my phone account.
this number keeps calling when you do 1471 it gives this number but when you ring it the message is that the number has not been recognised

Claims to be BT openreach technical department. couldn't confirm account holder name. wanted me to use laptop or computer to check speeds. Told him I had done that already this morning and was quite happy with it but he was insisting I tried it on my computer or laptop. I was apparently overpaying for the speed i was getting and should be refunded.?!?!? hung up at that point, I couldn't be bothered listening anymore.
A call from this number was blocked by my telephone, however, while I do not recognise the number, it seems unlikely to be a scam call from Hitchin in Herts.
