14.04.22 SPAM call telling me some one has used my card and spent £300 and £1000, Press 1 for customer services.

SCAM Fake 'Hermes delivery driver' is scamming people with convincing texts 'Hermes: We attempted to deliver your parcel today and was unsuccessful, to reschedule delivery please follow the link'. On clicking the link the receiver is met with a convincing website that looks almost identical to the Hermes official site where it asks for bank details to make payment for the £1.45 redelivery charge.

I had a call today from a South African sounding lady, from London number 020 8089 6127 said she was calling from a company called Teabag that got my suspicions up straight away, asked to speak to me by name, so she already had my name and phone number somehow. Said that she understood, I had lost money in an investment and would I like to get it back, I asked how she got my name and phone number and she immediately hung up. This is obviously a scam,

It was a recorded message saying "this is your bank. three withdrawals have been made on your card this morning...." and went on to list various sums. No name of bank, no name of card or card holder. The number used is not listed by my bank. Very suspicious.

SCAM Automated call pretended to be Ofcom and that my io address has been connected with links and internet was to be switched off within 24 hours, and asking me to press 1 to connect with the scammer. Hung up and contacted Ofcom directly and clarified it was indeed a scam. Horrible bastards I hope no one gets caught out HANG UP IMMEDIATLY.

SCAM - “your national insurance number has been deactivated” an alleged ‘National crime agency’. I laughed and hung up as soon as the recorded message said my NI has been deactivated, because that’s frankly impossible.

Fake call claiming to be from HMRC. Computer generated American accent!

Pre-recorded automated message (apparently from BT –NOT) plays when you answer the phone. Advises that you have been experiencing problems with your broadband service, and in order to correct the problem, you must press number 1 (one) on your phone keypad to speak to their “executive”. Call received on Tuesday 25 August 2020 at 13:05.
