Searched this number on several websites- all came back clear. Dailled the number & it's a PPI claims 'hotline'.
Automated message. Seems to be a fraudulent call from the inland revenue threatening with arrest if you do not follow up.
Fraudulent landline call from 0208978 7530 they are also linked to another landline number 02089787753 and 02089787756 I had a family member who works as a police officer who has called the enclosed telephone numbers several times and they won't answer there calls. Please Do Not Give Them Your Financial Details banks and credit card companies don't ask you for your financial details when they call.

SCAM dont answer, if the scammer sees the phone is active, they will sell your number to spam call lines etc as an active phone. Stay safe folks
I am currently getting 4-5 calls a day from this number and they are driving me insane! They are calling really early in the mornings and at weekend too. I m disabled so don t get up and about too early and these "people" regularly wake me up or sometimes I can t get to phone quick enough so they ring off then I ve just got sat down again or back into bed and they ring again. I Received a call from this number twice today and when i was able to answer they introduced themselves as Consumer helpline, the lady on the call advised that i had overpaid for finance in 2011 and she wished to help me get this refunded however i have never taken anything out on finance. I asked to submit a subject access request under the Data Protection Act where she then passed me to her manager.
