Scam - Purporting to be from BT saying my internet would be cut off within next 24 hours because of 'detected anonalis'all in suspiciously accented English.
Caller pretends to be from BT alledging illegal access to your broadband. Asks you to download a website Anydesk.com. This shows you suppossedly all the users who are accessing you broadband. Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. Fraud They said I had £87K in a cryptocurrency account with them ('Blockchain Support') I've never invested in crypto, so it must be some sort of phishing scam. I think they got my name and number via the June 2023 data breech at BBC etc.
Vodafone spam caller, "David", was unable to tell me what the weather was like in Kent today. Hung up.
