Phoned me to offer a better deal on my mortgage. When I explained that I do not have and have never had any mortgages with the named bank and would like to know who has taken out a mortgage under my name, they helpfully provided me with the name and phone number of the company that had provided them with the information about my mortgage

very rude woman from recruitment agency called and said i was an idiot as i didnt want to waste my time turning up to her agency for a made up job with a rubbish salary

Called today while we were out. If it is from Severn Trent Water, our pressure was low this morning so could be to do with that.

Very rude and abusive woman called at 9pm in the evening. Started shouting and swearing at me and threatened my family. Refused to give a name.

Chap claiming to be "Jim from Unique Preferences" (with a thick Indian accent) wanted to ask me "a few simple yes or no questions". He insisted he was not trying to sell me anything. The purpose of the call was "marketing". He said his company s partners would be able to make me offers which could save me money. This number called me on my mobile and I certainly didn t give them that number. They said they were from Ivana whoever the hell they are and as soon as I asked them where they got my number from they hung up. so that tells me they are totally untrustworthy. Ask them where they got the number from, or tell them they are breaking the Data Protection Law and they will soon piddle off. Will be blocking this number on my mobile as soon as I can get to grips with doing it.

Called today without leaving a mesage. Ignored it and tried to google number but nothing came up. Phoned the number back and just long peeps on the line.
