This guy called to say he s from Windows and my computer is hacked. He gave a licence number & wanted me to get on line to check it was the same as my computer s so he then could stop the hacker rather than having to shut my computer down. He then gave me his number to call back, got very forceful when I didn t and again when I said didn t have time to do it. Told him he was rude and hang up. Microsoft have nothing to do with this.

Called our TPS registered number. When informed of this said they weren t members of that scheme. I just ended the call. My gut feeling is that it s some type of scam.

I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! Is ringing daily, says from BT and there is a router problem, when you start asking questions they simply hang up. If you try and ring this number back you are informed that it is not recognized and you should check and try again!
