Called today never spoke and hung up. They called last month and said in a foreign sounding man saying he was from the council in the area I am from but it wasn t. Hoax call untrustworthy praying on vulnerable and elderly people.
first I missed the call. the i called back. there was a voice like "press 1 if..., press 2 if..." I immediately hung up
Called the home phone and asked for me by name. When I asked who was calling he just said he was from a surveying company and could I confirm the address (which he gave). He hung up when I asked what it was about. Dodgy.
