Say they are trying to arrange a visit to discuss government funded green replacement/save on energy, ie new boilers, solar panels etc. Would not say who they actually are or how they got our number, quoting incorrect information having checked on Which website. They actually take ages to answer their call! computer dialing I would imagine. Check out first on the Gov website about the facts before getting involved.
This is the second call i hve had from a 0115 number.Silent call. No one on the line Have to put my answer phone on two ring response,to minimise the effect. Serious nuiaance.
within an hour of calling HALIFAX about my mortgage I started getting calls from 08081450360. They leave no vm. Is this a scam? I called 08081450360 from a landline and got message "You were called today from a member of the Lloyds Bank Group..."

This is a call centre who say you've had a accident in the last 3 years .they won't take no for a answer and get abbusive when you say your not intrested . Very poor ...

SCAM phoned knowing my name. Most likely got a load of numbers from a data leak. Trying to sell "how to make money". When asked or their address they simply said they were based in "Berlin" but wouldn't give me any details of what address other than that. When asked further questions they would just try to deflect them and just say they got my details from when I apparently signed up for more information. Block them!
