Called this morning
Fraud Automated call supposedly from HMRC stating that there was a fraud claim against me and if I didn't press 1 I would be arrested shortly. Reported to HMRC as Phishing
I have had over 80 sms from this number costing 1p each time. Text says "Network message -please delete, followed by random letters, numbers symbols etc. Have tried various call blocking apps but none have been effective.
They re still attempting to call even though they re blocked; I m just going to leave them to it

Message from 03333440000 refers caller to www.aql.com/aql.text That page no longer exists on website. The main website gives the contact telephone number 01133 203040, while the information or lack thereof, on Companies House website is interesting. Definitely suspicious, probably fraudulent. Be extremely cautious. SMS messaging to landlines is a relatively new feature and used, for example, by some telephone engineers to confirm appointments/arrival time. Their employers no longer permit voice call

Medicare partnership calling people over 60 to sell them the home alarm systems (pendant fall alarms). I am horrified that they call like that vulnerable people trying to sell them a lifeline. The implication being they are the only supplier. They use the sweetner of a free system (if you qualify), Not happy at all!
