Rang claiming to be from Scottish power and told staff our contract was about to expire. When it I checked it is not - rang back and voicemail said the company is BTL so obviously looking to gain business by disception
Short call. By the time I answered, the call cut. Called back and Med accent automated call advised your call was successful. Looked up the EE cost of call and apparently charged 50p for this. Assume from my experience this must be a scam to make money.

SCAM Called about internet speed, this one claimed to be BT. Many calls last few weeks, sometimes claim to be Virgin, want to know speed, ip addr5ess and probably more. I string them along until they realise I am wasting their time, they then hang up abruptly. This one was not very polite.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam
