I have no idea what s more annoying, the "cold calls" or the "silent calls". At least with the "cold calls" someone is actually there. The about of "silent calls" we are getting is ridiculous. We ve even rung BT to see if there s a fault with our phone line... No, nothing wrong with the phone line at all. Hope the idiots that ring only to put it down as soon as you answer are proud of themselves. I even rung someone back one day because they had put the phone down (I was next to the phone when it rang). The

I ve reported it to http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report-a-fraud/how-to-report-a-fraud and suggest others do the same. When pressed, they gave me the name of a firm of solicitors which doesn t exist. The phone number appears to be a spoofed caller ID. Don t give them your bank details when and if they call you to tell you they ve got your compensation waiting to be sent to you!

A pest. Yes I owe them money, but I went bankrupt lat year, told them and declared it to the insolvency agency, but they still call demanding money. Basically, they re debt collectors thar ignore requests to stop calling.
