they call at least twice a day, but never talk, they just hang up
Claimed to be from Virgin, calling about internet. Got increasingly frustrated with me when I said I didn’t recognise the number and would call Virgin myself. Didn’t believe the guy with Indian accent and I hung up when he wouldn’t go away. Scary as it sounded like a big call centre in the background and it would be easy to get sucked in. Hope everyone hangs up and karma catches up with what I believe are scammers.
This number first will be an auto recording messaging saying it is from HMRC and if need to talk to a real person, press one. Then someone will ask your name and then says you are under legal charges and ask if any legal advisor will be with you. When you say to them that they are scam, they will cut off the line
01282 929982 a pension scammer perhaps be careful. Quite insistent promising to email info and even send a man to your door to collect your pension details.

Yet another call from a life insurance company. Hung up not long after he started asking questions and I rather suspect he was the same guy from a number I blocked this morning...

This person called me & stupidly did not withhold. They played an intimidating HMRC recording threatening me with Fraud. I called the no back & a guy answered claiming I had the wrong no. I questioned why his no was in my incoming call log & told him I suspected he was a scammer. He sent me a txt msg saying “watch how you talk to people luv” & “do one” I responded with telling him the no will be forwarded to Police & funnily enough he hasn’t responded back.
I have had yet another accident within a matter of minutes since the last call. My fault for advertising on GUMTREE..FFS
