Fraud - I received a message from this number saying that it was from HSBC and someone had tried to set up a new payee account. It is a well known problem apparently but HSBC haven't bothered to notify customers.

Answered call almost immediately - quite for 5 seconds then hung up!

Scammer with automated message stating it was my bank.. Claimed a transfer of £600 had been blocked to western union and asking me to dial 1 to connect to an operator. I hung up as I don't even have £600 and checked with my online banking for any alerts. Nothing there.
Claims a criminal case has been raised
Automated call to say our internet connection was compromised and would be disconnected in 4 hours. We were to press 1 to talk to a manager.
