SCAM only answered as it was a local code and I'm waiting on some calls. Not an English accent. Tried to tell me they were from Amazon and someone had tried to use my details to buy something for £400 asked if I had. Said no so was told to check emails, didn't have one so was told to use computer not mobile as for security it would only go to computer ???? At this point I was bored so told him to do one. Rang number back and no surprises it wasn't recognised.

SCAM Callcenter claiming to be a solicitor firm offering to add me to their group compensation claim against Mercedes and BMW for emissions defeating devices fitted to cars. I could get thousands of pounds in compensation. Same company uses many other numbers and does not honour cease and desist requests nor do they comply with the Data Protection Act and UK-GDPR requests to remove my details from their Database. I received a call from this number this morning. The caller had my name. When I asked who was calling, the man stated that it was Direct Claims Group regarding the minor accident I'd had. I replied that 'You must mean the minor accident that I haven't had!' and told him to get off the line. When I checked Companies House records, there were two companies called 'Direct Claims Group'. One was dissolved in 2018 and the other in 2019. So the call was definitely annoying and probably suspicious.
They called my Mums land line and asked if she's a missing person.
