Strange call from 01299 208082 ID not withheld but i think like others PPI have handed my details on..

Came across convincingly, but had my doubts at certain times, said he was based in Portsmouth from a Bournemouth area code! Yeah right, barge pole and do not touchspringto mind, started getting upset after I wasted a good half hour of his time!

Got a call off this number saying they were doing reviews of life insurance for Zurich, asked me questions in a way that it sounded like she was testing me for the right answer (for security maybe!?) but as soon as I said to her surely you have this information in front of you the line went dead- then I googled the number and came across this thread! They seem to get numbers and call them, unsure where they get their private numbers from and the information or not on who may answer. Received an email saying package had been delivered and signed for by me when I wasn t in. Have tried to call, no answer. Have filed out their online form only to have it closed twice with an automated email saying I signed for it. I don t know if they delivered it or if they did i don t know where. Shocking.

Don t know who they where, but i told them they were through to a Chinese takeaway, And they still wanted to speak to me, After offering them egg fried rice and sweet and sour chicken balls a few times they hung up, Cant understand why.

Rang today, when I asked why they had called me and how they received my mobile number he just continued with PPI refund speech. Again I explained that I don t have loans or a mortgage so he then began to question me as to if I knew what PPI was as I must have signed up for it. Rude and don t take no for an answer so next time they call I am going to blow a whistle down the ear piece of my phone.
