Confirming previous comments for this phone number. Rang purporting to be Microsoft. Tried to convince me that they have my computer s licence number by reading out a number, then getting me to look at .ZFSendToTarget setting in file associations. the tried to get me to go to websites www.fix.us or www.support.me. I did not take it further. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER. IT IS A SCAM.
Had a call off this number today, 5th May 2021 , no message left. I rang back and it went to voice mail with no message on the voicemail to indicate who it is.

Ambulance chasers “had an accident, not your fault”
Said they were from Microsoft (Reading) and that my laptop had security problems that they could help with. Asked for more details and the person said my laptop would be closed down. Also said that I would continue to get phone calls from them. I ended call at this point.

SPAMThis number calls me four or five times a day both on my mobile and landline. Can't something be done to stop this?
